Headers are constructed with 2-ply 2×12 Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) lumber. The roof is supported by prefabricated trusses with a 4/12 pitch, spaced 24 inches on center, and engineered for a 30-10-10 load rating, providing strength and code compliance in various conditions.

Both eaves and gables feature 12-inch overhangs with vented aluminum soffit and painted steel fascia to enhance airflow and deliver a finished appearance. The structure includes 2×8 treated skirtboards at the base and 2×4 purlins and girts spaced 24 inches on center.

Exterior walls are wrapped with housewrap for added moisture resistance, while the roof features a ThermaGuard vapor barrier for improved insulation and condensation control. The building is finished with Everlast 28-gauge LYNX Series painted steel roofing and siding for long-term protection and durability.

Ventilation components include vented closures under the ridge cap and foam closure strips at the eaves. Trim includes a painted steel ridge cap, rake and corner trim, base angle, gutter apron, overhead door trim, and double angle at the gables — all color-matched for a clean and cohesive look.

Entry is provided by one 6.0 x 6.8 double fiberglass door with 15-lite glass panels and one 3.0 x 6.8 solid 6-panel fiberglass door. For natural light and ventilation, the kit also includes thirteen 36” x 48” white vinyl double-hung windows.

8′ x 72′ Wrap-Around Open Lean-To

The included wrap-around lean-to measures 8 feet deep by 72 feet long and is designed for added shade, coverage, or usable outdoor space. It features treated 4×6 posts, each anchored with a 5×12 precast concrete footer and an 80-pound bag of Sakrete. Treated 2×4 uplift blocks provide added wind resistance.

The framing includes 2×10 Southern Yellow Pine headers and ledgers, with 2×8 rafters on a 2/12 pitch spaced 4 feet on center. A painted steel fascia is included to cover the face of the porch beam for a polished, weather-resistant finish.
