40×80 Garage Kit

This premium materials package provides everything required to construct a 40′ x 80′ pole barn with a 12′ wall height. The building features a durable structural framework made with 3-ply 2×6 GluLam posts spaced 8 feet on center. Each post is supported by a 5×16 precast concrete footer block and an 80 lb. bag of Sakrete for stable, long-lasting performance.

Roof and wall framing includes 2-ply 2×12 Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) headers, with 3-ply headers used over 10-foot openings for added structural capacity. Pre-fabricated roof trusses are engineered with a 4/12 pitch, 35-5-5 loading, and spaced 48 inches on center to ensure code compliance and durability.

The exterior features 12-inch overhangs on both eaves and gables, finished with vented aluminum soffit and painted steel fascia for clean lines and enhanced airflow. A 2×8 treated skirtboard runs along the base, while 2×4 purlins and girts are spaced 24 inches on center for framing integrity.

The building is clad with Everlast 28-gauge LYNX Series metal roofing and siding in your selected color. The roof includes a Therma Guard R-9 vapor barrier to manage moisture and insulation. Vented closures are included under the ridge cap, and foam closure strips are installed at the eaves to protect against wind and weather.

All trim components—painted steel ridge cap, rake and corner trim, base angle, gutter apron, overhead door trim, and double angle at gables—are color-matched for a seamless look.

Access is provided through two 10′ x 10′ ProDoor 4210 overhead doors. Each door features a white raised panel design, one row of windows, vinyl back insulation rated at R-6.8, torsion springs, standard track, weather stripping, steel angle reinforcement, and slide locks for security.

Additionally, one 3.0 x 6.8 fiberglass entry door with 9-lite glass and a black keyed knob is included for personnel access. The kit also comes with 4” GRK structural screws for headers and color-matched screws for roofing and siding installation.
