24′ x 40′ x 10′ Pole Barn

This comprehensive materials package includes everything required to construct a 24-foot by 40-foot pole barn with a wall height of 10 feet. The framing is built using treated 4×6 posts spaced 8 feet on center. Each post is anchored with a 5×12 precast concrete footer block and one 80-pound bag of Sakrete, providing a strong and stable foundation.

Structural support comes from 2-ply 2×10 Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) headers. The roof system features pre-fabricated trusses with a 4/12 pitch, engineered to a 35-5-5 loading standard and spaced 48 inches on center for optimal strength and reliability.

The barn includes 12-inch overhangs on both the eaves and gables, finished with vented aluminum soffit and painted steel fascia for durability and ventilation. The wall system consists of 2×8 treated skirtboards along the base, and 2×4 purlins and girts spaced 24 inches on center for solid structural framing.

Exterior protection is provided by Everlast 28-gauge LYNX Series metal roofing and siding. The design includes a 3-foot 4-inch wainscot on all sides, adding visual appeal and surface protection. A Therma Guard R-9 vapor barrier is installed under the roof panels to improve insulation and moisture control.

Vented closures beneath the ridge cap and foam closure strips at the eaves enhance weather resistance. All trim components are painted steel and color-matched, including ridge cap, rake and corner trim, base angle, gutter apron, overhead door trim, and double angle trim at the gables for a clean, finished look.

The package includes two ProDoor 4210 overhead garage doors: one 18′ x 9′ and one 8′ x 8′. Both are white, R-6.8 insulated, vinyl-backed, and come equipped with standard tracks and slide locks for secure operation.

Two 3.0 x 6.8 fiberglass entry doors with a classic 6-panel design are included for easy access. To bring in natural light, the kit also comes with four 36″ x 48″ white vinyl single-hung windows, each without grids for a clean, unobstructed appearance.

All necessary hardware is provided, including 4” GRK structural screws for the headers and color-matched screws for both roofing and siding, ensuring a secure and professional-quality installation.
