Kit Description: 24′ x 40′ x 10′ Pole Barn

This complete materials package provides everything needed to build a 24-foot by 40-foot pole barn with 10-foot wall height. The structure is framed with treated 4×6 posts, spaced 8 feet on center. Each post is set with a 5×12 precast concrete footer block and one 80-pound bag of Sakrete for a stable foundation.

Truss support is provided by 2-ply 2×10 Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) bearers, with upgraded 2-ply 2×12 MSR lumber over 9-foot eave openings to ensure structural strength. The roof system features pre-fabricated trusses with a 4/12 pitch, engineered to a 35-5-5 loading specification and spaced 48 inches on center for consistent support.

Both eaves and gables feature 12-inch overhangs with vented aluminum soffit and painted steel fascia, promoting airflow and a polished finish. Wall framing includes 2×8 treated skirtboards and 2×4 purlins and girts spaced 24 inches on center.

The building is enclosed with Everlast 28-gauge LYNX Series metal roofing and siding for long-lasting protection and visual appeal. A Therma Guard R-9 vapor barrier is installed beneath the roof to improve moisture control and energy efficiency.

Vented closures under the ridge cap and foam closure strips at the eaves are included for weather protection. Painted steel trim components—including ridge cap, rake and corner trim, base angle, gutter apron, overhead door trim, and double angle trim at the gables—are all color-matched for a cohesive look.

This kit includes three ProDoor 4210 9′ x 9′ overhead doors. Each door is R-6.8 insulated with a vinyl back and raised panel wood grain design in white. They are equipped with torsion springs, standard track, weather stripping, steel angle reinforcement, slide locks, and do not include windows—offering added security.

Entry is provided by one 3.0 x 6.8 fiberglass entry door with a 6-panel design and a black, keyed entry knob.

All required fasteners are included, such as 4” GRK structural screws for the headers and color-matched screws for both the roofing and siding, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
