30×50 Garage Kit w/Lean-To

This complete materials package includes all components needed to build a 30′ x 50′ pole barn with a 12-foot wall height, plus two 14′ x 50′ open lean-tos extending along both eaves. The main structure is framed with 3-ply GluLam posts, each anchored with a 5×16 precast concrete footer block and one 80-pound bag of Sakrete to ensure a strong, long-lasting foundation.

Headers are constructed using 2-ply 2×10 MSR-rated lumber, supporting pre-fabricated roof trusses spaced 48 inches on center. The trusses feature a 4/12 pitch and meet 35-5-5 loading standards for strength and code compliance. Overhangs measure 12 inches on both eaves and gables and are finished with vented aluminum soffit and painted steel fascia for durability and ventilation.

The wall system includes 2×8 treated skirtboards and 2×4 purlins and girts installed 24 inches on center. Everlast 28-gauge LYNX Series metal roofing and siding provides durable, low-maintenance exterior protection. A Therma Guard vapor barrier is included under the main roof to manage condensation and improve insulation performance.

Vented closures under the ridge cap and foam closures at the eaves improve airflow and weather protection. Trim components include a painted steel ridge cap, rake and corner trim, base angle, gutter apron, and overhead door trim—all color-matched for a cohesive, finished appearance.

This kit includes one 12′ x 10′ ProDoor 6410 overhead door, featuring R-10 insulation, a steel back, raised panel wood grain finish, torsion springs, standard track, weather stripping, steel angle support, and a slide lock. The door is white and does not include windows for added security.

Two 3.0 x 6.8 solid 6-panel fiberglass entry doors are included for personnel access. Also included are all necessary fasteners: 4” GRK structural screws for headers and color-matched screws for roofing and siding for a clean, professional installation.

(2) 14′ x 50′ Open Lean-Tos (Eave Sides)

The package includes two open lean-tos, each measuring 14′ x 50′, running along both eave sides of the building. These are supported by 6×6 treated posts spaced 10 feet on center, each anchored with a 5×12 precast concrete footer block and Sakrete for stability.

The lean-to framing includes 2×10 Yellow Pine headers and 2×12 Yellow Pine ledgers. The roof system uses 2×12 Southern Yellow Pine rafters with a 2/12 pitch, spaced 4 feet on center. Structural reinforcement includes 2×6 treated Y-braces and 2×4 treated uplift blocks to enhance wind resistance and structural integrity.
