The roof system includes pre-fabricated attic storage trusses with a 7/12 pitch and 25-5-5 loading, spaced 24″ on center. Framing accommodates a 14′ x 7′-6″ attic room (flooring and stairs not included). The attic is framed with one (1) 2-ply girder for stair access and two (2) gable trusses equipped with horizontal girts at 24″ spacing.

2-ply 2×12 MSR headers support the trusses, while the sidewalls are framed with 2×4 girts and purlins 24″ on center. A 2×8 treated skirtboard runs along the building’s perimeter. The barn features 12″ overhangs on eaves and gables, completed with vented aluminum soffit and painted steel fascia for a clean finish and effective ventilation.

Exterior roofing is finished with Everlast 28-gauge LYNX Series painted steel panels. Walls are clad in authentic 1×12 Eastern White Pine board & batten siding for a classic post-frame aesthetic. A Therma Guard R-9 vapor barrier is included for the roofing system.

The building includes two (2) 10′ x 9′ ProDoor 6410 overhead doors, each featuring raised panel wood grain design, one row of windows, white finish, 26-gauge steel back, R-10 insulation, torsion springs, standard track, slide lock, steel angle bracing, and full weather stripping.

For entry access, the kit includes one (1) 3.0 x 6.8 fiberglass entry door with a 9-lite window and a black keyed doorknob. Seven (7) 36” x 48” white vinyl single-hung windows with grids provide natural light throughout the structure.

All necessary fasteners are included, including 4” GRK structural screws for header installation and color-matched screws for the roofing system.

Lean-To Specifications

The included 12′ x 60′ open lean-to is supported by 6×6 treated posts spaced 10′ on center, with each post set on a 5×12 concrete footer block and Sakrete. The structure features 2×10 Yellow Pine headers and ledger boards. Rafters are 2×8, pitched at 2/12, and spaced 4′ on center. Additional components include 2×6 treated Y-braces and 2×4 treated uplift blocks for added structural support.
