40×60 Warehouse Kit

This complete materials package includes everything necessary to build a 40-foot by 60-foot pole barn with a wall height of 12 feet. The structure is supported by 3-ply 2×6 GluLam posts, each set with a 5×16 precast concrete footer block and one 80-pound bag of Sakrete to ensure a solid and stable foundation.

Structural headers consist of 2-ply 2×12 Southern Yellow Pine (SYP) lumber, supporting pre-fabricated trusses with a 4/12 pitch, engineered for a 35-5-5 load rating and spaced 48 inches on center. These trusses provide strength and code compliance across varying weather conditions.

The building features 12-inch overhangs on both eaves and gables, finished with vented aluminum soffit and painted steel fascia for proper airflow and a clean, professional appearance. Wall construction includes 2×8 treated skirtboards and 2×4 purlins and girts spaced 24 inches on center for consistent framing integrity.

The exterior is finished with Everlast 28-gauge LYNX Series metal roofing and siding for long-lasting protection and curb appeal. A 4-foot wainscot wraps all sides of the building for added durability and visual contrast. A Therma Guard vapor barrier is installed beneath the roof for enhanced insulation and moisture control.

Ventilation and sealing are improved with vented closures under the ridge cap and foam closure strips at the eaves. All trim components—including ridge cap, rake and corner trim, base angle, gutter apron, door trim, and double angle at the gables—are color-matched painted steel for a polished finish.

For wide equipment access, this package includes one 14′ x 12′ split sliding door with a Cannonball frame, complete with track and all necessary hardware. Entry access is provided by a 3.0 x 6.8 fiberglass door with a 9-lite window design for light and security.

All required fasteners are included, including 4” GRK structural screws for headers, along with color-matched screws for both roofing and siding, ensuring a strong, consistent, and professional installation.
